Lisa was a fabulous gal...funny, witty, beautiful, great hair, and with a smile that could light up a room! She was light and wisecracking one minute...and deep and thoughtful the next! But above all else...she told it like it was...there was no BS in the gal! If she liked ya, she liked ya...and if she didn't, she'd surly let ya know...LOL!

Over the years, I have thought of Lisa often.  Alphabetically we landed next to each other which meant sitting in homeroom next to each other and being locker neighbors.  We both then chose the same college and saw each other around campus.  Then, I was in Daytona Beach on that same spring break she never made it to.  So sad...such a young, vibrant life cut short too soon.

Lisa was a terrific friend to me! I was so shocked to hear what happened to her right after HighSchool. I have thought of her often over the years.

Ozzie rocked! I never hitch hiked after her death.  Maybe there was a lesson God was trying to share with us and he used Lisa to deliver it?  Such a shame, loved Ozzie..   Zevon

This was and is so tragic. I still cannot get my brain around it.

Lisa was one of my very best friends.   We pledged EBT together, had many sleepovers at each others houses, saw the Stones together....soooo many memories.  It's very difficult to think of what happened to her and Kim.  I cherish the hundreds of good memories we made together and miss her every day.  Love you Lisa xoxoxoxo

What a beautiful and truly one of a kind person!  Lisa was a terrific friend to me, and encouraged me to do a lot of things I probably wouldn't have without a push, like trying out and performing in the Taming of the Shrew with her.  We loved Mystic Mints.  When she went missing, I had a dream that she was drinking Jack Daniels and floating on a lake in a canoe, and she said "Don't worry Al-BAN-ese, tell everyone else not to worry, I'm doing great".  I prefer to remember her that way, and her affectionate nickname for me - Doof!

Lisa always made me laugh. She would say things that were not intentionally funny, and then we would both laugh at how hilarious it all was.  How could you not want to hang out with her?

Two weeks ago, I did The Ride for Missing and Exploited Children.  The bike ride was 100 miles long, and every rider was to wear a pin with a missing child's story on it.  The day before the ride, one of the coordinators John describes to us that when we bike through Buffalo State College, we are going to have a moment of silence, in honor of his sister who was last seen on campus 25 years ago.  His sister was Lisa.  I stopped John after the meeting to talk and we had a lovely discussion about Lisa;  I told him how I was friends with her when we went to school in Fairport.  Even after high school when she was attending Buff State and I was at UB, we stayed in touch.  John and I were both reflective, sad, happy...and we ended our talk laughing... which seemed the appropriate thing to do.  Doing that ride was a really emotional day, made even more personal to me because we were honoring Lisa and her roommate Kim.
