Since Scott was a "Bar" and I was a "Bas" our lockers were next to one another from 7th grade on. We also sat next to each other in almost every class we shared. He was one of the few of us who steadfastly pursued French to the Nth degree with Ms Matulic. She called him "Le Chat" because of his mustache whiskers. :) He took it very well!
Scott was bright, funny, generous, and gracious. He always greeted me with a big smile every day. We could confide in each other and talk about just anything. He was really special, and I was sad to hear of his passing at the last reunion.
